Describe the bug
I can't install the app on a MacBook since the Gatekeeper doesn't let me install it, it says "Barrier cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified".

Additional context
I know by going into the security configs I can let unsigned apps be installed, but due to security reasons I can't do that on this specific MacBook.
Any possibility of signing the app with Apple?
If it cannot be signed, how can I get a security report on this app?
@doctor-mora-pol commented on GitHub (Jan 23, 2021):
You can override Gatekeeper on a per-app basis by right-clicking the app and selecting "Open". You'll get the same screen, but there will be an option to continue anyway.
@wengole commented on GitHub (Mar 10, 2021):
I am only seeing the options Move to Bin and Cancel. Disclaimer I'm new to MacOS.
@prediscover commented on GitHub (May 18, 2021):
I'm also running into this issue. I can't even open it when going into system preferences and clicking "open anyway" in the security settings.
@jmahone commented on GitHub (May 29, 2021):
This is likely because the folks seeing this issue have company/organization-issued macs, and the policy has been set to not allow applications to be installed that haven't been vetted by Apple. Until barrier is signed and submitted to Apple, this will be the case.
@shymega commented on GitHub (Jul 23, 2021):
Yes, see #448. Barrier can't be signed and submitted at this time. Unfortunately, I will have to close, as there's nothing I/we can do at the moment. Sorry.
