Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

I have this too with an Arch Linux client. My server (MacOS 10.15.1 hostname ADITDM010900001.local) has two clients a Macbook Air running 10.14.6 (ITDMLB010900003) and my Lenovo running Arch (adorabelle/x260). The same thing happens when I'm on the Linux client, but not when I'm on the MacOS client.

This is still an issue with the client and server using 2.3.3

The same problem is with macOS in both client and server.
