Steps to reproduce bug
When running a VM using VMWare on the Ubuntu client machine, I am unable to use keys such as: ctrl, and alt in the VMWare VM, however if I use VirtualBox I can use said keys. Works perfectly fine in the client itself but as soon as I use VMWare those keys are a no-go.
Other info
I have seen threads going back as far as 2011 to do with this issue in Synergy and as far as I could tell it looked fixed in newer version of Synergy but I am not totally sure as I do not own a copy of Synergy.
@AdrianKoshka commented on GitHub (Jun 5, 2019):
I assume you install the VMware guest tools?
@LinxzSec commented on GitHub (Jun 5, 2019):
Yup! Probably should've mentioned that.
