A minor annoying thing is that on startup with Big Sur, I always get asked, "Do you want the application “Barrier.app” to accept incoming network connections?"

Is there anyway to remove this?

I'm seeing that too. I think it's sometimes caused by the application modifying something within its own application bundle package, and then the security system doesn't recognize it anymore and wants a new verification.

Based on the answer here this is most probably due to a missing signature.

When I run the command indicated in the comment it indeed says that it's missing:

$ codesign --verify -vv /Applications/Barrier.app/
/Applications/Barrier.app/: code object is not signed at all
In architecture: x86_64

From my understanding, it's not about going through the official process of signing it by Apple, it's about having any signature from the developer. Though I'm not an expert in development for MacOS

The version is 2.4.0-release-3e0d758b
