We enabled the stale GitHub actions bot to help us close inactive issues, but the bot turned out to be rather aggressive. I will be creating a PR to fix this shortly.

The reasoning behind the bot was to help, but we recognise the noise it has created. Please be aware that this project has limited developers, and we needed to cut down on inactive issues. PRs are always welcome to help us out.
