2.3.2-snapshot-9080ce45

Steps to reproduce bug

run command barrier

mbarkhau@mb-thinkpad:~
$ barrier
Qt: Session management error: None of the authentication protocols specified are supported
Fontconfig warning: FcPattern object weight does not accept value [0 200)
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Other info

I can't say when this started, at some point I rebooted and barrier was not working. I assume I installed some font or changed some font settings and barrier could not be started from that point, but since I was running it all the while I didn't notice right away.

Work around: Looking for the error message I found another projects where this was suggested:

$ sudo fc-cache -fv
$ sudo fc-cache -rs

One of those worked, I think the latter.

Does this bug prevent you from using Barrier entirely? Yes/No

Works for me again now, I'm mainly adding this issue so people can find the issue and the work around. Feel free to close the issue if this isn't something that can be fixed with barrier.

Got the bug on a 21.04 computer, but not on another. The workaround doesn't work. I am stuck, it cannot be used.

I'm getting similar errors myself. Had some updates and rebooted, now Barrier doesn't run for me and gets a segfault, but has a bunch of Font Errors it seems?
