Original GitHub issue: https://github.com/debauchee/barrier/issues/302

Operating Systems

Server: microOS Tiara

Client: Applesoft Windy OS 10

Barrier Version

1.9.π

Steps to reproduce bug

  1. Set windows laptop to have screen to its right side.
  2. Connect mac computer and configure it to be to the right side of the windows pc in the configuration.
  3. There is no way to enter the mac laptop, it fails to go to the right side.
  4. Moving the mac computer to the top, bottom or left side fixes the issue and works fine, but not convenient.

Other info

  • Is there a way to work around it? No/Yes, you can switch the position of your screens, so that the monitor for the windows would be to the left, and mac computer to the right, then it is fine.
  • Does this bug prevent you from using Barrier entirely? No

@MartisiusL Apologies for the late reply to this issue.

I notice you have chosen... "interesting" names for the OSes you're running Barrier on. Could you please change the names to the normal ones? Whilst I can somewhat guess what you mean, its not very helpful to change the names for reasons I can not yet understand.

Thanks.

My apologies, I thought - at first - these were made-up names for the OSes.

I can see now that its an macOS and Windows problem. I've labelled it correctly now.
Would you be able to correct your original issue to state the version of macOS, Windows 10 build number, and the Barrier version?

Cheers.
