I've built airwindows in the folder airwindows/plugins/LinuxVST, and copied the sofiles into one of the vst folders. Unfortunately in ardour 5 or carla, these files do not turn up as valid plugins. Is there something else i should be doing to get this to work?

I don't know. I don't know enough about Linux to be able to help. Do the ones I distribute in newupdates.zip work? :)

It all just works in ardour 6 for me.

Maybe try asking in the ardour irc channel or one of the linux forums.

I'm using carla-single to test out single plugins. I get this error message " undefined symbol: AudioEffectX ". Other non airwindows vsts work fine
