Describe the bug
While having the Keyboard settings set to Default for brightness it changes the brightness not only on those dedicated brighter/darker keys (behind F1/F2) on an Apple keyboard, but also on regular F14 and F15.
Alternatively when I try to set the Keyboard settings to custom for brightness, I can't set "brigher" or "darker" respectively as the desired button for this. (It is just ignored).
I'd like to change the brightness with the brightness keys, but I want to be able to use F13-F15 for myself.
Steps to reproduce
Alternatively:
Expected behavior
I would expect that I can change the brightness with those dedicated keys by default and not also with F14/F15.
I would also expect that I can set the brigher/darker key as a shortcut for the custom set.
Anything else?

Hi @TiiFuchs
did you try toggling this?
@TiiFuchs commented on GitHub (Oct 8, 2021):
No thanks. That fixed it.
(I looked for something like that, but it was hidden behind the Advanced Settings toggle I didn't know about.)
Thanks! ^_^

No problem! :)
