❓ Question
Description:

Environment:

ntfy server: self-hosted v2.16.0 (Docker)
ntfy Android app: Google Play latest version
Matrix server: Synapse self-hosted
Phone: Android [1plus13 ]

Steps to reproduce:

Set up self-hosted ntfy server
Set up Matrix Synapse with UnifiedPush
Configure Element X to use ntfy as UnifiedPush distributor (self-hosted server)
Send a message in Matrix

Expected result:

Notification appears on phone

Actual result:

Server logs show "Forwarding to 1 subscriber(s)" - success
WebSocket connection is active
But NO notification appears on the phone
Even when ntfy app is in foreground

Server logs:

message_unifiedpush=true
Forwarding to 1 subscriber(s)
WebSocket connection established and active

Additional details:

The push notification is successfully delivered to the phone but ntfy app does not display it
Element X shows "notification not clicked" error during troubleshooting
Manual test messages via ntfy app also don't show notifications
This happens even with the app in foreground
