What did you use? I installed through yay -S lan-mouse. And created the config and everything worked. But when I ran the one on lan-mouse-git it was not working.

I was using lan mouse git maybe this was the source of my issue

You need to use the same version on both ends. Keep in mind, only the git version currently encrypts traffic. This also means you need to whitelist Devices when trying to connect (A popup will appear showing the certificate fingerprint)

@feschber With git version, do you mean from the git releases or a cloned repository?

I also can't get the app to work, I try between windows and mac OS.

I also just noticed while typing this that the least release is a million years old.
It would be nice to have a newer release some day cause I prefer to download a binary that does not work then building something that does not work 😜

you can use https://github.com/feschber/lan-mouse/releases/tag/main

There will be a new release soon. I'm currently in the process of redoing the release workflow so this is currently slightly broken

I was wondering why the link from the email did not work and then 10 seconds later the link from there did work but that was in the window you edited 😎
