Originally created by @JayDustheadz on GitHub (Feb 23, 2025).
Original GitHub issue: https://github.com/keycastr/keycastr/issues/319
When Keycastr is active, it prevents the user from clicking the [Don't Allow] / [ OK] buttons generated by Security & Privacy dialog windows.
Replicated on macOS Monterey 12.7.4
Triggering should be possible via the following terminal command ( ffmpeg required ):
ffmpeg -f avfoundation -i "1" out.mpg
Unable to replicate on Sonoma ( dialog windows are different so perhaps because of that? ).

@akitchen commented on GitHub (Mar 25, 2025):
Yes, there were some other issues opened about this when this was a current version of macOS. This issue existed on a range of versions of macOS but it has resolved itself, probably due to changes in the OS itself. There is nothing KeyCastr is doing to interfere with these dialogs or input in general. Unfortunately this is not something we will be able to address in KeyCastr.
