When I double click it, it seems like it's opening (it does that icon "jump", like increasing in size and vanishing), but the app doesn't start.
I already added to the Input Monitoring pane, no difference.
I'm assuming it works on macOS 10.15.7, because of some of the details mentioned in the GitHub page.
Any tips?
Thank you

same with me. The app doesn't seem to start showing the key strokes. When I click on "Start Casting" nothing really happens.
I'm on Mac OS Sonoma 14.3
@phalgun commented on GitHub (Jan 10, 2025):
ok never mind. I just had to turn on permissions in the Mac OS Settings for accessibility.

If you decline to enable it the first time around, macOS won't prompt you again unless you remove KeyCastr from the Input Monitoring list and start it again. Otherwise, you'll need to unlock the list and manually enable the KeyCastr option in that list.
Right now the feedback in the app isn't great if it's not enabled. The only real indicator you'll get is the display of the icon in the menu bar or task switcher. In the menu bar it will be fully dark if enabled, and slightly faded out if not. If it remains faded out you'll need to ensure it is enabled in the Input Monitoring list and restart the app.
I'm not aware of any issues affecting the app's ability to run on older OS versions. If you do discover anything in the Console or elsewhere, please do open an issue with those details.
