This behavior will be observed with any application which is using "Secure Input" because the OS will not send the input events to other monitoring applications. Apple's Terminal.app has a setting you can toggle on and off to see this happen. Unfortunately it's not something that can be fixed in KeyCastr, it's a security feature of the operating system.
