So I tried using the directions given in #927 to use firejail with my ssh daemon. Combining that approach with the info from #789 (using the daemon program), I've managed to get it working --- at least for a short while. The program never properly backgrounds and systemd kills it after a timeout. How do I ensure it's properly backgrounded?

Huh, weird. When the service starts during system startup, there's no issue. It's only when I try to run it manually that I run into this.
