Originally created by @azimut on GitHub (Jun 2, 2017).
Original GitHub issue: https://github.com/netblue30/firejail/issues/1326
OS: Redhat 7.2
Version: firejail-0.9.46-1
Build: rpms downloaded from sourceforge
This started to happen with firejail-0.9.46 including the rc. This works on firejail-0.9.44*.
When I try to switch to a user with /usr/bin/firejail as the shell I get an error.
But If I do the switch first and then run firejail it works.
Can you advice if this is a bug or what can I do to fix it or troubleshoot it?
@netblue30 commented on GitHub (Jun 2, 2017):
Fixed on mainline, thanks for the bug!
@azimut commented on GitHub (Jun 3, 2017):
thanks!, I just want to mention that from the commit I got a workaround with the current rpm by adding
--shell=/bin/bashinto/etc/firejail/login.users
