We need to file an official project registration on Libera IRC for the firejail channel. IMO this should be done by @netblue30 as the Firejail project owner.
@netblue30 Please take care of this: https://libera.chat/chanreg/#project-registration. If something's not clear, @NetSysFire can assist.
Relates to #3479 and #5361.
@netblue30 commented on GitHub (Sep 26, 2022):
Will do, thanks!
@netblue30 commented on GitHub (Oct 25, 2022):
Channel is up, just got an email from the admin at libera.chat:
@ghost commented on GitHub (Oct 25, 2022):
Thanks for the info!
@ghost commented on GitHub (Oct 25, 2022):
Closed this prematurely, reopening. @NetSysFire just contacted me on the channel. Apparently you need to assign
Group Contactsinformation. I'll join #libera-communities to provide more details and will provide an update on this.UPDATE: #libera-communities is an invitation-only channel so I couldn't join.
@netblue30 Hate to bother you on this once more, but currently you're the only one who can add these Group Contacts. Would you mind looking into this when you find the time please?
@ghost commented on GitHub (May 12, 2024):
@netblue30
Can you please send an email to projects@libera.chat announcing additional Group Contacts? If you're ok with it, @NetSysFire and myself will do the day-to-day management of the channel and @reinerh will be assigned as fallback.
