I need help trying to figure this out, as I've exhausted all other options in Windows 10. Disable wake timers, certain services, tasks, etc. The only thing left that I can think of is either the Barrier service running in the background, or some piece of hardware built into the Mac mini that triggers a wake. I'm running a cloned version of my Windows 10 desktop on a Mac mini via external SSD. My desktop doesn't wake on it's own, but the Mac mini does every night between 8pm and 11pm. The reason I think Barrier might be causing this is because it's always running, even before login. It's as if every night either the client or the server is checking for a connection, which wakes the remote PC. Is this possible? Even when I have 'Check clients every:' disabled in Barrier's server configuration.

What was the fix? Please do document that, otherwise this issue is somewhat empty.

@Uzukii commented on GitHub (Jun 22, 2021):
No fix, doubt there is or will be one since I don't know for certain if it's Barrier waking my PC or not. And I can only test it once a day by seeing if my PC wakes within that time frame I mentioned. I figured the developer or any resident software engineers lurking around here would know if it's at least possible for Barrier to be the cause. Otherwise I closed the issue because I couldn't delete the thread.
@shymega commented on GitHub (Jun 22, 2021):
OK, well, I have no idea why, but I doubt it's Barrier; by your description, it sounds more like macOS.
@gibahjoe commented on GitHub (Sep 22, 2024):
I can confirm this is an issue with barrier. Barrier is preventing pc from going to sleep and preventing the display from turning off for some reason
