I connected barrier from a windows sever to a linux client running manjaro distro, I already selected all barrier related binaries to run in application controlled dpi settings like here: https://github.com/debauchee/barrier/issues/42. I also tried bumping the cursor twice to the edge of the screen to no avail. The problem is that everything works exactly as you will expect and even sharing mouse works when toggled by a keyboard shortcut, but only running mouse to the edge of the screen doesn't work. There are no errors in the log, as expected.

How to replicate:

  1. run barrier on mismatched screen, preferably running 2 different OSes.
2.Try to move mouse from one window to the other

Expected behavior : mouse gets shared from one screen to another
Actual behavior : nothing happens, with mouse being stuck at the edge of the screen.

Workaround : Currently the only workaround is to use a hotkey to share the mouse.

Barrier version : 2.3.3

Could you reload on both ends and share the logs?

I have this exact problem. Barrier works at first start for a good while but eventually I think after I turn off my monitor for linux then back on at a later time. The server is on Windows 10 64bit on a 4k TV, client is on Manjaro xfce. When turning monitor back on, when moving the cursor to Manjaro xfce linux screen that's on an 720p monitor the cursor gets stuck on Windows side. I may have moved the cursor off Windows screen towards the linux screens direction when the linux screen was off. I can post logs or create a new post if needed. Maybe this info is helpful.

I closed barrier on Windows 10 and linux, then started barrier on Win which started and then opened barrier on linux and it started and all is working. Hopefully this can be easily fixed.

Both are running version 2.3.3

Edit: I stand corrected.

Both screens on the cursor getting stuck on Windows 10 screen attempting to move to the linux screen.

I have a wired mouse with Win 10 and a wireless logitech anywhere mx mouse that I frequently manually turn off. I don't know if that is the cause but worth mentioning. The linux PC also has a wireless mouse separately to be able to open barrier.
