Describe the bug
I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 as barrier server and a Windows 10 pc as a client. Whenever I start typing using the remote keyboard, language on the client PC switches back to English. This does not happen when I use real keyboard.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Set up a simple client-server environment.
  2. Switch from server to client.
  3. Open notepad, or something alike, switch language on the client to any language other than default, start typing.

Expected behavior
As a result of steps mentioned above, language on the remote PC will revert back to English.

Screenshots
Not really applicable, I can attach a recording of the screen if needed.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Ubuntu 20.04 (server), Windows 10 (client)
  • Barrier version 2.3.2 (server), 2.3.3 (client)

I got a similar set up here, but with a Lubuntu 19.10 and the server being the windows!
Using the server on 2.3.3 fixed some parts of this bug (now the language keeps switching to US, but the keys are in the correct language)

In my case, the real keyboard is Pt-br ABNT2, and as soon as I type in my client, the layout switches to US, however the ABNT2 keys are in the right place and working as expected, only got 2 missing, which are ç and '

Yep this is very confusing and annoying. After reading other issues, where people asking to sync layouts between host and client I began to think that this is deliberate. If it is, it should be switchable behavior. Because now to switch to another layout on client I have to go back to server and switch layout there, then I can go back to host and type.
