I use the same server-client side like this. but with Windows Keyboard and real Mouse on Mac. It would't work like your bug. Only work if both Keyboard and Mouse in barrier.

I use Logitech Master 2S, it has LogiOption Flow features work the same as barrier, but If I let barrier works over Logi apps, Other features of the LogiOption won't work as expected on Mac.

FWIW this also happens when using two Macs.

a mouse click on the '+' (plus) sign of a window title should put window in fullscreen.
an alt-key + mouse click on the '+' plus sign of a window title should maximize the window, not fullscreen.

To reproduce
Pressing the alt-key on the keyboard of the Barrier_client and clicking with the mouse of the Barrier_server will put windows into fullscreen. The alt-key has not been registered.

Server & Client: macOS 10.15.7
Barrier: 2.3.3-release-3395cca9 (2020-07-14)

I have a similar issue. 2 macs. shift+option+click doesn't work when using keyboard/mouse from server computer across barrier to client computer. Shift+click works fine though.

Server computer is MacOS 10.14.6
Client computer is MacOS 12.6
Mouse is Logitech M705
Keyboard is Mac wired keyboard
