barrier client on manjaro i3: failed to connect to server: Timed out
Barrierc command line is not working.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1.open terminal
2. barrierc -f --debug INFO --name PCNAME 192.168.1.87
3. barrier doesn't connect
4. failed to connect to server: Timed out

Expected behavior
trying this barrierc in command line for executing for autostart in i3 config, can't find any solution to do so?

Platform:

  • OS: Manjaro i3 Linux 5.7.19-2-MANJARO
  • Barrier version: 2.3.3-release-00000000 Build Date: Thursday, July 16, 2020

You need to configure the screens too.

Please try using the GUI, and report back. That way we can isolate the problem.

oh i found a way to make it work actually.
saved config and used auto-start and it magically worked
