Operating Systems

Server: Windows 10 Pro x64 newest version 1903

Client: macOS 10.15.3 Beta

Barrier Version

macOS 2.3.2 Build date 3. October same on Windows

I am now trying for 3 hour's to get this thing working.
What works is I can use my Macbook as Server and Windows as client.
But I have a new keyboard on my Windows machine which I want to work on my Macbook.
I allowed on macOS "sh" and "AEServer" and on Windows barrier.exe, barriers.exe and barrierc.exe threw the firewall. I tried to change the ports and also I disabled SSL to check if it would work then ...

On macOS I only get a failed to connect to server: Timed out. (when SSL is disabled)
I read a lot of issues but none could help me with my problem.

I even restarted the barrier service but without any success.
I really don't know what I can further try to get this thing working.

When I enable SSL I get the following:

It seems like the Clipboard would be working but it doesn't.
Windows10 is my Windows Machine and Ultrabook.local is my Macbook.
I changed the name from my Macbook to the shorter Name Ultrabook. Before I had a longer hostname.

Has anyone any ideas what I could try out?

Kind regards,
Daniel Oberlechner

Hi,
funny thing:
I had my Windows Machine running for 15 days non stop, and some windows updates waited for installation ... I took both machines offline (shuted em down) and all of the sudden it worked on the first try ...

I find it really strange that it worked in one direction but not in both before...

Sorry that I had to write such a long post but I really didn't know would i could try out anymore.

If some one has the same problems like I had try the things thjat I wrote in those 2 posts down ...

Happy regards,
Daniel :)
