I've greatly submitted changes to the CI system in https://github.com/miurahr/aqtinstall and the author's maintenance and enhancements have caught up and exceeded my fork of the original qli-installer. Additionally, the CI system in aqtinstaller actually tests building real Qt projects and not just the capability to download the libraries. I would feel much more confident using this alternative alternative installer instead.
