What happened?
I’ve written a technical troubleshooting guide for cases where Barrier attempts SSL/TLS negotiation despite encryption being disabled (commonly affecting mixed x86_64 / ARM64 setups with OpenSSL 3.x).
Would you be open to adding this as a wiki page, or should I submit it another way?
I’m happy to adapt it to preferred format or scope.
Version
v2.0.0-RC1

If applicable, where did you install Barrier from?

What OSes are you seeing the problem on? (Check all that apply)
Linux
What OS versions are you using?
Windows: Windows 11 (x86_64)
Linux: Kali Linux (ARM64) running on Raspberry Pi 5
Crypto stack: OpenSSL 3.x on the Linux side
This is a mixed-architecture setup (x86_64 <--> ARM64).

@nbolton commented on GitHub (Jan 28, 2026):
Barrier is no longer in development. Check out Deskflow (upstream) or Input Leap (fork).

If this is still an issue in those projects, we would appreciate a cross-post of this issue.

You solved my problem. How can I donate You from Russia?
