What happened?
Worked perfectly. Update to Sequoia and now can't get it to work.
Firstly, just hung at 'barrier is starting'
I removed and re-added permissions in Macos accessibility
I added permissions to Developer Tools
Now is says 'barrier is running'
But no mouse movement is showing up.
Is there some alternative software that is maintained , I don't mind paying for it?

@LyndonArmitage commented on GitHub (Nov 28, 2024):
This project is essentially unmaintained. Consider using the fork of barrier: https://github.com/input-leap/input-leap or even the original software it is derived from: https://github.com/deskflow/deskflow
@HiddenBit-X commented on GitHub (Jan 9, 2025):
I had similar issue, with client on Sequoia, along with it saying problem to connect and certificate errors when trying to connect to host.
The only workaround I have been able to find as of now is to login to Sequoia Mac, Start the Barrier Client, Open System Settings - Privacy & Security - Local Network, and then turn it off and on again for "Barrier" then the Client can connect to the Host fine.
Not sure if there is any better workarounds or fixes to this error.
I have no problems like this other than with Sequoia.
Thanks
Rocket.

I was having the above problem, but I solved it,
when in settings completely
remove Barrier and close settings. "-" sign.
Close barrier if still open and then open it again.
It will re-add it to permissions and then just turn it on and it works fine.

@MichaeljGleesonUL Great to hear you fixed it and thanks for sharing your workaround/fix.
As Barrier is no longer in development, I recommend you try Deskflow or Input Leap.
https://github.com/deskflow/deskflow
https://github.com/input-leap/input-leap
Both are compatible with Barrier client/server so you can try on one of your computers.
