What happened?
I installed barrier on 2 devices, disabled SSL on both in order to connect (annoying, but not the real issue), and connected. I checked the boxes for I believe starting on restart minimized, closed it, then tried to open barrier and it simply doesn't open. It shows up in task manager, but even after restarting, uninstalling, and manually deleting the remaining files not deleted and reinstalling, and running as administrator barrier will not open in a form that I can open its GUI on either of my devices.

@johnner5 commented on GitHub (Apr 18, 2023):
bump
anyone know how to fix this? it seems like a good program for the 2 minutes I got it to work for.
@SubOptimal commented on GitHub (Apr 18, 2023):
I don't know the Windows version, but
[]:24800looks wrong.When I start
barriercwith[]:24800(no hostname) the log shows the same error as yoursWhen I pass the host name (or its IP address) as
[barrierserver]:24800then the connection is confirmed in the log withMaybe you should run it as your normal Windows user, not as privileged user.
@johnner5 commented on GitHub (Apr 18, 2023):
This is my normal user, there is only one account on this computer. I found another program that works, not perfectly, but works.
