What happened?

This is my setup.
Server: macOS Catalina10.15.7(Macbook Mid 2012)
Client: Windows 10

My Issue: My issue with the app is that I was able to use the server's trackpad for a long time since I downloaded it up till a few weeks ago and now its just an inconvenience for me. I don't understand what I am doing wrong.
The options in the server configure that I have checked are:
Sync screen savers
ignore auto config clients
enable drag and drop file transfers(This doesn't work though it is possible I just dont know how its supposed to work)
enable clipboard sharing
