What happened?

My question is if this is by design, or it's a bug that happens to everyone or if it's something that I'm not configuring properly.

My native language is Bulgarian (cyrillic) and I have to switch between English and Bulgarian quite often. I have a Windows 11 PC for the server and a Macbook Pro with MacOS Monterey for the client. I'm using the command line tool for the server and the GUI for the client. Everything is working great except the keyboard language inputs.

When I'm on the MacOS Client if I switch the language from english to bulgarian the icon in the menu bar shows that the language has switched to bulgarian, but I'm still typing in english. In order for it to work I have to go to the Windows Server, switch the input to bulgarian from there and go again to the client and switch it to bulgarian from there as well. That is quite annoying because I have to switch between languages on both computers almost every minute or so. I've tried to set it up using keystrokes actions, but it still doesn't work, because no matter how I setup it it does not switch the language on the server. Is there a workaround or something?
