What happened?

I lose all access to the clipboard on both client and server after I connect both to barrier. The clipboard only becomes available after I disconnect them. Furthermore, I have also noticed that the mouse lags a bit during text selection while Barrier is running even if disconnected. When I quit Barrier, it is all fine. I have added the log output while copy pasting in both the server and the client. I also can't drag and drop files across the client and the server. Is the file drag and drop option available for LInux?

I have searched for other clipboard issues but none of them have offered me any solution. I would be thankful for help

A temporary solution to this is to open the server settings by clicking the configure server button and unchecking the "Enable clipboard sharing" option in the Advanced Server Settings. The clipboards of both machines can now be used but separately.

Thanks. Having the same issue. Had to disable SSL on both sides to make it connect in the first place, not sure if it's relevant.

I just noticed this problem... it seems like Barrier even gets in the way the local clipboard for the server running it. I'm unable to paste anything with ctrl+v anywhere, I'm forced to click the damn mouse wheel to paste stuff...

I missed this before for some reason!! well, this did work. And then using KDE Connect for the clipboard sharing (which I already used before) did the trick for sharing clipboard between computer and steamdeck.
