What happened?
My windows server starts normally, when I try to start my Macbook client it manages to go through the configuration process and asks where I would like to position the display, but when I choose where I would like the display to go it gets stuck in the startup process and the log says it has timed out connecting to the server
Version

What OS versions are you using?
Windows 10 server
MacOS Monterey 12.5.1
Relevant log output
Any other information
I have tried every combination of versions from 2.3.3-2.4.0
MacOS sometimes works as a server with the Windows machine as a client, however I could not get this configuration to work a few months ago
My Windows server has 2 IP addresses 26.228.234.234 and 192.168.1.196 which is highlighted in bold, the first address does not even allow the Macbook to show up on the interactive configuration and doesn't work with manual configuration either
@ghost commented on GitHub (Sep 1, 2022):
also things to consider, Windows is connected over ethernet, barrier used to work in this configuration when using wifi over an extension box
I remember downloading a Barrier dmg file from another issue request and that worked originally, however I cannot find that thread anymore.
@ghost commented on GitHub (Sep 1, 2022):
I got it working, going to close this issue now
if anyone is coming from google, I fixed this issue by changing the port by 1 in settings, then entered a random ip address in the address box below the port select (10.0.0.14) on the server machine, tried to run the server then removed the port. I got a popup asking if I allow this ssl certificate on both devices and pressed yes.
