What happened?

My current setup is a Windows Laptop in the centre (acting as a server), and a Mac Monterey Laptop on the right (acting as the client). Once both "barriers" have started, if I move my cursor for a few seconds, it will disappear from the Windows display to the Mac display stuck in the bottom right corner.

This problem only occurs if the Windows Display scale factor is not set to 100%. In my case, it was 125% that caused the error.

I am getting the same issue. When my dell laptops screen scale factor is set to 125% and I try to move the cursor to my Mac, the cursor will get stuck in the bottom-right corner of my Mac and will not move. I can click in that corner and it will open the notes app.

Although I didnt mention it, mine also opens notes, but I thought that was due to where I kept notes in the Dock

It is exactly the same scenario. Mine opens notes because the shortcut is set to open it on the bottom-right corner of the screen. But what I wanted to be noted is that the mouse works, since I am able to click in that specific area where it is stuck. The issue is related to the mouse movement, even the keyboard works.

On the other side I downloaded the previous version (2.3.4 for both ends) and now everything works as expected. You could try it @volkrunX and see if it resolves your issue for you as well.

I confirm that release 2.3.4 on both ends is working for screen at 150% on my windows 11 server and a custom scale (125%) on my windows 11 laptop client.

Windows 10 build 19045.2965 (server)
iMac macOS Ventura ver 13.4 (client)
Barrier v2.4.0 on both (dowloaded from GitHub)
If scale is 125% on Windows, cursor disapears when moving to iMac (scale 100% works fine)

Same for me, works when my screen on the server is at 100 % but blocked in the corner of the client when screen of the server is 125 %.

But interesting to note :

  • Click works on the client side (and molet)
  • If I have two screens on the server and if the "main screen" is at 100 %, I can go to the client side and pass by the screen of 125 % and it works : so the most important is to have the main screen at 100 % and we don't care for the others
  • Works in v2.3.x
  • Nothing interesting in debug mode, relative mouse don't do anything also

It's a big problem for me, I can't use it on my laptop, 100 % is too small for my screen.

Thanks for your help.
