What happened?

When I try to open the GUI on my Macbook (M1 2021 Monterey v12.3.1) the app tries to start and then shuts down instantly. I can see in the dock that it is trying to start because the icons in the dock start moving to make place for the Barrier icon. I need to force quit Barrier so it stops trying to launch. This makes it impossible for me to use Barrier.

I have successfully launched the GUI once before this started happening. I quit the GUI and tried to reopen but then this happened. I tried to uninstall and reinstall. I have tried v2.4, v2.3.4 and v2.3.3. They all have the same issue.

There is no Barrier log file in /var/log.

No worries. I have been ignoring it as well.
But it troubles me when I loose connection when I am in the middle of typing, so I thought to do a search online for a fix.

Please try Deskflow or Input Leap as Barrier is no longer in development.

https://github.com/deskflow/deskflow
https://github.com/input-leap/input-leap

Both are compatible with Barrier client/server so you can try on one of your computers.

If this is still an issue in those projects, we would appreciate a cross-post of this issue.
