What happened?

I have the same version 2.4.0-release-3e0d758b running on my server (mac os big sur 11.6.6) and on my client (running windows 10 professional).

On OSX I have layouts "U.S." and "U.S. International - PC" available, and on Windows I have "ENG INTL" and "ENG US".

I noted the following: configuring OSX to use "U.S. International - PC", if I send á (pressing ' and then a on the server), the layout gets switched on de client to "ENG INTL" and receives an á. Everything OK.

If I want to send: ' (pressing ' and then space), I receive on the client what I expected, an '

The problem occurs when I want to send ` or ~

For some reason I can't receive those characters on my client. I get a blank space instead.

I tried sending those characters using the hotkeys functionality, it works.... but not always, doesn't seem to work 100% ok..... some times I received the characters on my client when I'm focusing on my server.

Any ideas about how to get this working ok?

Found the solution:
Uninstall this and install this version: https://github.com/DEAKSoftware/Synergy-Binaries/releases/tag/1.14.3.5-stable
