What happened?

I installed Barrier on a Window 10 and a ubuntu laptop. It was working fine with a little bit of lag on the client side. One day I turn on barrier on both laptops and issue starts appearing; whenever I switch to my client laptop, the mouse cursor is desynced from the actual mouse position. I do know the invisible mouse exist because I can still highlight certain thing when mouse over them. And the mouse cursor works when I move the mousepad on the client laptop.
