What happened?
using version 2.4 between windows10 desktop and windows10 laptop run fine with ssl turned off, the desktop is the server, the laptop is the client. while playing minecraft on the client laptop, as long as you try to look around in game, the mouse capture freaks out, and you cannot play the game. using the pause menu works fine, but for some reason, the in game mouse capture for camera controls do not play nice with the shared mouse function. (turned off trackpad for laptop, and unplugged laptop mouse to make sure no fighting between devices could happen)

@Roobyx commented on GitHub (Apr 15, 2022):
It happens in multiple games and games-a-like software.
@shanefisher1 commented on GitHub (May 28, 2022):
Major issue that makes Barrier unusable for gaming. Can we get a fix for this?
@yllekz commented on GitHub (Jun 25, 2024):
Still happening for me, can this please be looked at? I need to fully exit Barrier to prevent this. OS is Linux so this seems to be an OS-agnostic issue.
@Vibricks commented on GitHub (May 4, 2025):
Still happening till this day and can confirm it happens on windows as well so i don't think it's related to the OS used
@yllekz commented on GitHub (May 5, 2025):
Follow-up on this: I moved to Input Leap which is actively maintained, but the bug still happens there as well. Just an FYI for those who aren't aware that barrier is deprecated and Input Leap is the new app.
@nbolton commented on GitHub (May 5, 2025):
As well as Input Leap, you may want to look at Deskflow, which currently has the most activity.
It's compatible with Barrier client/server so you can try on one of your computers.
If this is still an issue in Deskflow, we would appreciate a cross-post of this issue.
Should we use Input Leap or Deskflow? The 'Insights' tab of each project may help you decide.
