What happened?

I'm trying to setup barrier to work with my desktop and laptop using my laptop as the server. They are connected and the logs show that the connection was successful without any error but when I try to move to my desktop the cursor always go back to the laptop and when it manages to finally move to the desktop (the cursor moves to the right every time I try to use my desktop) I completely lose control over my mouse, but the keyboard seems to work fine. Same issue here:
Server: Windows 10
Client: Windows 11

How do I fix it?

Both windows 10 and 11 I turned off screen resolution scale from 125% or 150% to 100% on both notebook and pc, also resolution is the same 1920x1080

Now I can see the cursor moving and working ok.

Can confirm that this solves the issue but is it the only way to get it working? Using 100% in laptop makes everything so small and hard to read.

Barrier showed the same symptoms for me when switching from 2.3.4 to 2.4.0. What eventually fixed it was this workaround: https://github.com/debauchee/barrier/issues/94#issuecomment-934400562
