What happened?

Hello, i just installed barrier to use a old imac for stuff like chrome and remove some burden from my air while i work on it.

Anyway, i noticed that a lot of special keys aren't being sent correctly, here's some examples:
ç becomes ©
- becomes '
" (shift 2) becomes ^
} (shift option 9) becomes ≈

Both machines are running the same Portuguese layout
Im using the macbook air as a server and have a apple keyboard connected to the imac

Macbook Air (i3 2020): - OSX 12.1
Imac (i5 late 2013): OSX 10.15.7 (the latest for this machine)
