What happened?

Screensaver / energy saving works fine if the KVM system is fully working (ie server and clients communicating correctly)
However if a client if moved from the system and no longer talks to the server, the screensaver does not work.

Steps to reproduce

Start server (machine and barrier
Start Client number 1
Start Client number 2
Use as normal (screensaver works fine)
Turn off client number 2
Turn off server
Client number 1, never runs screensaver or any screen blanking

If i stop the barrier service on client number 1, all returns to normal
