What happened?

It might not be a bug, I believe there could be a settings for this in Linux, but I have no clue how to solve it, and I was not fortunate enough to stumble upon the solution on the internet (well among the issues in github mainly). People usually use Windows servers in the issues which I have found.

Manjaro server, Windows 10 client.
When the screen lock activates on Manjaro, the barrier server cease to work. Even if I am working on the Windows machine, I have to log in into Manjaro by typing in my password, just to be able to use the mouse on the Windows machine.

Is there any option in barrier, which makes it running even during the screen lock? Or is there any way I can tell my Linux OS, that this process should stay active?

Same problem with barrier and synergy

Tried to solve with this solution from Windows-guys, but hotkeys don't work either
https://forums.symless.com/topic/1416-lock-screen-issue/?do=findComment&comment=4879

Found several similar threads, but no hope there
https://github.com/symless/synergy-core/issues/3325

One workaround I find - run server on non-linux machine

Barrier is no longer in development. Check out Deskflow (upstream) or Input Leap (fork).

https://github.com/input-leap/input-leap

If this is still an issue in those projects, we would appreciate a cross-post of this issue.
