What happened?

I am using Barrier between a Mac running on Mojave and Ubuntu Linux Pop!_OS 21.04.
The server is running on the Mac and the client is on Linux.
Each time I restart Linux, I have to restart Barrier on the server side because Barrier is switching my keyboard from French AZERTY to US QWERTY.
Both macOS and Linux are running on AZERTY, plus on Linux I am using the same exact keyboard mapping than on macOS.

On macOS, from the Barrier website.
On Pop!OS using the deb on the official Pop!_OS PPA repository.
