Dear friends, I installed Barrier on my Mini Mac and Windows Machine.
When the Mac is a server, then there is no problem to use Barrier.
But when the Mac is a client and the Windows is a server, then the Mac cannot connect to the Windows machine.

Immediately I checked the firewall but it's open and ok.

  • OS: Windows 10 and MacOs big sur
  • Barrier version 2.3.3

Does anyone knows what to do?

Thank you,

Ilan.

Please check the logs on both server and client. Sometimes, Windows side barrierc may need to be restarted, which can be done by pulling up the run dialog with Win-R and running services.msc. Then, Search for and restart barrier service. Often this fixes the issue for me

I'm facing the same issue as @iccm:

  • Windows 10 (Server)
  • iMac Catalina (Client)
