I am using external screen extending my linux laptop , both in landscape. I changed the external screen to portrait.
When trying (in displaySetting) to set the external screen back to Landscape, both screens becomes black (the cursor is visible) for about 10-15 sec and then the previous (portrait on external screen) is back.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. run barrier, and leave it DISCONNECTED from peer machines
  2. connect one external screen (mine was to the left of the laptop)
  3. open DisplaySettings, change the external screen to portrait, Apply.
  4. try to get back to Landscape. The dialog "keep changes" is probably displayed but not seen
  5. to make it work: quit barrier (using the gnome icon in top top right).

Expected behavior
don't interfere with the linux setting

Screenshots
imagine a black screen

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: ubuntu 20.04
  • Barrier version 2.3.2

Additional context

my system is at home, connected to internet, but not to the peer machine
