I have a very weird phenomenon with pointyguitar: When I start the track, it sits at ~7% cpu usage (which already seems quite high to me, chimeyguitar on the exact same track has around 3% and pointydeluxe sits at ~0,5%). But when I have the repeat button enabled and the track jumps back to the beginning of the track or time selection, cpu usage of pointyguitar jumps up to 17-20%. When I stop the track, the cpu load stays that high until I either mute the track once or take the effect offline and online again. If I enable "Force Auto-bypass on silence for selected FX" the problem effectively disappears. These are my system's information:
Reaper 7.38 on Linux (NixOS 25.05)
Airwindows version (LinuxVST): Jul 27 03:01 Airwindopedia.txt
No oversampling is configured.
DAW set to 48khz 24bit
I'll happily provide more if helpful
