Describe the bug

When changing brightness using the mac keyboard if my mac screen, rather than my external monitor, is in focus, then the app quits. Changing brightness when my external monitor is in focus using my mac keyboard does not quit the app, only when the mac screen is in focus.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Ensure MonitorControl is running
  2. Focus on the mac screen (e.g. click onto something in the mac screen)
  3. Using the mac keyboard to change brightness

Expected behavior

MonitorControl continues running after changing brightness using the mac keyboard brightness keys on the build-in mac screen

Anything else?

No response

Thanks for this, i didn't realise there was a later version because it looks like there was an issue with the "Check for updates" feature on 4.2.0.
