Describe the bug

Volume control doesn't work with Dell U3223QE monitor. Pressing the volume up/down/mute keys doesn't seem to do anything. The brighness buttons work perfectly though. The monitor is connected to my MBP with the provided USB C cable.

Steps to reproduce

clicking the volume up/down/mute keys on keyboard
Or adjusting volume with the Monitor Control UI from the menu bar
The volume doesn't change at all

Expected behavior

Expect volume to be adjusted
