Environment Information (please complete the following information)
@dalemoore commented on GitHub (Jun 30, 2025):
I'm guessing this is what's happening to me. Even though I have MonitorControl set to open on login it seems I have to keep constantly re-opening it because when I try to adjust the brightness with my keyboard nothing happens; I look up and its icon is no longer in the top of the screen... I'm also on MacOS 15.5 (Intel).
Edit: Actually, it looks like I was locked into version 4.2.0? No idea why, when I run the check for updates it says I'm on the latest version. Obviously not... I'll download the dmg again and reinstall.
@waydabber commented on GitHub (Jul 13, 2025):
This seems to be the same as this: https://github.com/MonitorControl/MonitorControl/issues/1648
@waydabber commented on GitHub (Jul 13, 2025):
(note: the issue was fixed but it's a rare one there was no updated build issued yet)
@Anywhere-Music-Player commented on GitHub (Jul 13, 2025):
Looks like, but in that issue you said it's a different one), so which is which?
@waydabber commented on GitHub (Jul 13, 2025):
I mean this crash is the same as that one apparently.
@Anywhere-Music-Player commented on GitHub (Jul 13, 2025):
When I attached crash logs from it, you said it's another one, then I posted it here, you telling me this is the same.
Well, I'm just saying... maybe this is 2 diff which occurs really often for me by the way, after wake up.
