Seems there is no one-key shutdown function for the external display.

It is recommended to add the function of turning off the external monitor with one key and pressing any key to resume.

If you mean put the display to sleep, this should be a macOS feature (you can define a Shortcuts hotkey for it).

If you want to soft-disconnect an external display, you can use BetterDisplay as it has this feature.
