Describe the bug

App works fine on changing brightness of external monitor.
Once I'm trying to change brightness of MacBook it connected (both with slider or keyboard) app quits momentarily.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Connect monitor via USB-C with charging (not a Thunderbolt).
  2. Launch the MonitorControl.
  3. Try to change the brightness of Color LCD (MacBook display).
  4. App quits momentarily.

Expected behavior

App should not crash on changing brightness.

Anything else?

Thanks, it helped! It was just inconvenient that app itself was saying that it is up to date.
