Before opening the issue, have you...?

When I press the brightness buttons on my keyboard it changes the brightness of the monitor my mouse is currently on and shows the ui popup on the monitor im currently on.

Describe the solution you'd like

I would love if the ui for the sound would appear on the monitor that my mouse is currently on instead of only on my macbooks display

Describe alternatives you've considered

.

Anything else?

@waydabber commented on GitHub (Feb 24, 2025):

The sound will always play via the default audio out right now and app volume control should only be active when the output is set to an external display with DDC control. So in this context I am not sure this makes much sense (except for custom, multi-output audio configurations).
